The most predominant virus type found in the sentinel sites in the week 3 was Influenza B/victoria. Overall
incidence of Influenza-like-illness (ILI) and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) were 21/ 1000
outpatient visits and 6/ 100 hospitalized patients respectively. The highest cases of ILI were reported from
Paro whereas SARI cases were reported most from Phuntsholing hospital.
