Four cases of bacterial meningitis with one death were reported from JDWNRH. The two cases were under five years of age while one case was 62 years old referred from Gidakom Hospital. A total of six suspected measles cases were reported during the month of February 2018. Of these, three were cases reported from JDWNRH were positive by both serological and molecular assays. The number of measles cases reported was high compared to previous months. Two cases of malaria positive by RDT were reported from Tading Sub-post under Samtse Dzongkhag.
