Three cases of bacterial meningitis with no death were reported from JDWNRH. All cases were under one year of age. A total of 14 suspected measles cases (Paro (4) Thimphu (3) Sarpang (3) Samtse (2) Trashigang (1) and Bumthang (1)) were reported during the month of March 2018. Of these, one from Thimphu, two from Paro were lab confirmed. Two cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever were reported from Samtse Dzongkhag. Two outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) outbreaks were reported in poultry at Samdrupjongkhar and at Kalapani Samtse. In both locations, no human cases were detected. Three ARI outbreak and three Chickenpox outbreak were reported from six different Schools.
