Three cases of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome and one bacterial meningitis were reported from JDWNRH. All cases were under one year of age. A total of 20 suspected measles case were reported; Thimphu (none cases), Paro (six cases) Wangduephodrang (two cases), Sarpang (one case), Tsirang (one case), Chhukha (one case) and Pemagatshel (one case). All were negative by anti-measles antibody lab tests. Two cases of lab-confirmed malaria were reported; one from Samtse and one from Dagana districts. Two outbreak of Chickenpox was reported in Schools under Gasa and Mongar districts respectively.
