Two cases of bacterial meningitis were reported from JDWNRH, no AES cases reported during the month. One was under one year and another was between 20-24 years of age. A total of 21 suspected measles case were reported in the MR surveillance system: cases were reported from Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Samtse, Trongsa, Chhukha and Haa. Two cases of lab-confirmed malaria were reported; one from Samtse and one from Chhukha districts. Two cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic fever were reported; one from Samtse and one from Samdrupjongkhar districts. Two outbreaks of Chickenpox were reported in Schools under Lhuntse and Samtse districts respectively. One outbreak of Acute gastroenteritis was reported from Schools under Punakha districts.
