Five AES cases were reported from JDWNRH: three were in the age group of 1-11 months and two were less than 29 days. Two cases of Bacterial meningitis of age 1-11 months were reported from MRRH. 44 suspected and one measles positive cases were reported. Of those, Paro reported the highest cases (19) followed by Chukha (5) and Wangdue (4) cases. Seven laboratory-confirmed malaria cases were reported: Paro (2), Trongsa (1), Samdrup Jongkhar (2) and Sarpang (2). Three cases of mushroom poisoning were reported as an event from Rangtsi village Haa.
One outbreak of ARI with 25 cases was reported from Sangkana village, Mongar.
