The predominant seasonal Influenza strain circulated in this week was Influenza A/Pdm09. The overall incidence of Influenza-Like-Illness (ILI) and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) were 28/1000 outpatient visits and 7/100 hospitalized patients respectively. The laboratory-confirmed influenza viruses were detected mostly in age group 2-4, 5-14 and 30-64 years age group (Figure 1).
