National Tb Reference Laboratory, Royal Centre for Disease Control has conducted two days Hands-on training on installation and running GeneXpert MTB/RIF for 2 staffs from Samtse Hospital and 2 new staff from NTRL on 30 and 31 January 2019. The training was conducted to make laboratory staffs competent on running the machine for early detection of Drug Resistance Tuberculosis. The new machine will be installed at Samtse hospital on 7 February 2019.
