Influenza activity remained high above alert threshold in the country this week. Influenza A/H3 and circulated more predominantly. The Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) associated laboratory confirmed influenza cases were mostly in 15-29 years age group and for Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) associated hospitalization due to influenza were in 30-64 years age group.
