FluView_ILI & SARI Surveillance Report for Week 32, 2015

The incidence of Influenza-like-illness (ILI) and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) for the week was 24/1000 outpatient visits and 11/100 hospitalized patients respectively. The highest incidence for ILI cases was reported from Paro hospital and SARI cases from Mongar and Tsirang hospitals. ILI cases were mostly observed among age group of 15-29 years while SARI cases were observed among 5-14 years. From 24 ILI samples received and tested by Real-Time RT-PCR, all were negative for influenza.
