On 6th September 2015 following recommendation from PHL Chief Mr. Sonam Wangchuk, a medical team comprising of medical officer, Dr.Choni Wangmo , CMO Punakha Hospital , Mrs. Pema Choden, Health Assistant from Shengana BHU and Tashi Norbu, ADHO visited Tashidingkha Middle Secondary School and Lungkha Village under Zomi geog to conduct investigation and active surveillance from the place where suspected AES and bacterial meningitis was notified by Punakha hospital CMO.
