The incidence of Influenza-like-illness (ILI) and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) for the week was 24/1000 outpatient visits and 4/100 hospitalized patients respectively. The highest incidence for ILI cases were reported from Paro Hospital and SARI from Phuntsholing Hospital. ILI cases were mostly observed among age group of 15-29 years and SARI cases among 2-4 years. Of 9 ILI samples received and tested by Real-Time RT-PCR, the positivity rate was 11.1%.
