Three days training/workshop on Influenza-like illness (ILI) surveillance was conducted to Clinicians and other hospital staffs of 11 Sentinel sites. The training was held at Hotel Kingaling in Punakha, from Sep 26-28, 2022.

The primary objective of the training was to enhance and strengthen COVID-19 Integrated Influenza surveillance in line with the opening of country’s borders and to be prepared for the upcoming Flu season of the country. The training not only covered exclusively on operational aspects of ILI surveillance; case enrolment, samples collection, shipment, PCR testing and reporting, but also updated on global, regional and national Influenza and SARS-CoV-2 activity.
