The incidence of Influenza-like-illness (ILI) and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) for the week was 12/1000 outpatient visits and 6/100 hospitalized patients respectively. The highest incidence for both ILI & SARI cases were reported from Paro Hospital. ILI cases were mostly observed among age group of 15-29 years and SARI cases among 0-1years. Out of 2 ILI samples received and tested by Real-Time RT-PCR, none were found positive for Influenza viruses.
