The most predominant virus type found in the sentinel sites in week 3, 2016 was Influenza virus type B. Overall incidence of Influenza-like-illness (ILI) was 12/1000 outpatient visits, highest incidence being reported from Tsirang Hospital. Incidence of severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) was recorded at 5/100 hospitalized patients, highest incidence being recorded by Samdrup Jongkhar Hospital.
