The most predominant virus type found in the sentinel sites in week 4, 2016 was Influenza virus type B. Overall incidence of Influenza-like-illness (ILI) was 21/1000 outpatient visits, highest incidence being reported from Paro Hospital. Incidence of severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) was recorded at 5/100 hospitalized patients, highest incidence being recorded by Paro Hospital.
