The most predominant virus type found in the sentinel sites in the week 38 was Influenza B. Samdrup Jongkhar hospital recorded highest incidence of Influenza-like-illness (ILI) which was 24/ 1000 outpatient visits while Paro hospital recorded highest incidence of Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) which was recorded at 9/ 100 hospitalized patients.
