FluView_ILI & SARI Surveillance Report for Week 1, 2016

The most predominant virus type found in the sentinel sites in week 1, 2016 was Influenza virus type B. Overall incidence of Influenza-like-illness (ILI) was 5/1000 outpatient visits, highest incidence being reported from Punakha Hospital. Incidence of severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) was recorded at 5/100 hospitalized patients, highest incidence being recorded by Paro Hospital.
