FluView-ILI & SARI Surveillance Report for Week 52, 2017

The predominant circulating Influenza virus was Influenza A/H3. Over all incidence of Influenza-like-illness (ILI) and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) were 13/ 1000 outpatient visits and 8/ 100 hospitalized patients respectively and the Influenza activity had remained low. The most laboratory-confirmed Influenza viruses were detected in the age 15-29 years in ILI cases. No SARI samples were positive for Influenza virus.
