Ever since the re-emergence of Ebola virus in western Africa in 2013, thousands of lives have been succumbed to Ebola virus disease (EVD) including health workers and despite the intensified public health interventions led by WHO the virus still remains active and death is still rising. According to latest WHO’s report, a total of 10 141 confirmed, probable, and suspected cases of have been reported in six affected countries (Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Sierra Leone, Spain, and the United States of America) and two previously affected countries (Nigeria, Senegal) up to the end of 23 October. There have been 4922 reported deaths.
