The acute respiratory infection (ARI) decreases (3200) compared to previous week (3273) across the country in week-8, and it remains similar to ARI median of previous five years  (Figure 1). Influenza positivity rate for this week was 35.7% (10/28) which is higher than the previous week, and it remains above alert threshold (Figure 2). Influenza B (Victoria-lineage) was found most predominant strain (40%) for the week. FluView week_08
