Annual Drinking Water Quality Surveillance Report 2018

According to United Nations “access to water and sanitation are recognized as human rights, reflecting the fundamental nature of these basics in every person’s life. Lack of access to safe, sufficient and affordable water, sanitation and hygiene facilities has a devastating effect on the health, dignity and prosperity of billions of people, and has a significant consequences for the realization of other human rights”. Bhutan as a member of United Nations and national water reference laboratory in Royal center for disease control is working hard to provide safe drinking water to every single household in the country.
